Administrative Associate (PACT Teamlet)
Overview: Aptive Resources, in partnership with Valor Healthcare, is hiring an Administrative Associate to provide clerical and scheduling support to the Primary Care PACT team at the proposed Yreka, CA CBOC, pending VA contract award.
Location:On-Site | Yreka VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), 807 S. Main St., Yreka, CA 96097
Schedule:Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:30pm (Clinic Operating Hours); 8:00am–4:30pm Patient Schedule Hours
Employment Type:Full-Time Contract
Primary Responsibilities- Provide clerical support and administrative functions to PACT staff
- Collaborate on logistical elements of care coordination within comprehensive care management plans
- Provide guidance to patients navigating the VA health care system and administrative processes
- Provide scheduling services in accordance with VA policies and guidance
- Manage front desk operations and appointment scheduling; process patient intake and eligibility
- Maintain scheduling accuracy >95% and process patient check-in within 5 minutes of arrival
- Education/experience demonstrating clerical support and administrative skills
- Completion of scheduling training per VA policy and guidance
- Training in VA systems (e.g., CPRS, VISTA) preferred
- Meets VA Qualification Standards for Medical Support Assistant
- Must hold a current, full, active, and unrestricted license/certification (as applicable to the position) in California, or otherwise meet VA Qualification Standards for the position.
- Must successfully complete VA credentialing/privileging review and a background investigation (cleared through OPM via the VA Security and Investigations Center) prior to starting work; PIV credentialing required.
- Must complete required VA mandatory training and maintain current licensure/certification documentation annually.
