Salary Range: $20.59 – $25.02 per hour (step increments; highest step 3 based on experience)
Work Year: 6 hours per day / 180 days per year

Posting Process- Lateral transfer consideration:
First 3 days (12/11/2025 – 12/15/2025) - Promotional/qualified internal applicants considered after no lateral interest: 5 days (12/11/2025 – 12/17/2025)
- Outside applicants considered after all qualified in‑district applicants are interviewed
- District/End of month paid employees (excluding timesheet and probationary status) should apply during the first 5 days of the 10‑day posting period. Probationary employees will be considered with external applicants.
- High school diploma (or equivalent) AND
- 48 college units or Associate/Bachelor's degree, or a passing score (70% in both ELA and Math) on the Paraprofessional Exam administered by the Sutter County Superintendent of Schools at 970 Klamath Lane, Yuba City (phone: ).
- Proof of education or exam score must be attached as a copy of college transcripts or the Paraprofessional Letter showing passing score in both ELA and Math.
Applications will be accepted online only. Completed application must include a resume and two letters of recommendation. Attach documents to the online application prior to submission. After the closing date, administration reviews applications and contacts selected applicants for interviews. Human Resources is not involved in the application review/interview process.
