Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher - Yuba , California

• Valid certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
• Experience working directly with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
• Strong understanding of diverse communication methods, including working with students using cochlear implants
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to travel within the county as needed

• Deliver direct instruction to approximately 30 students with varying needs, ranging from mild to profound hearing loss
• Adapt lesson plans and resources to accommodate individual student goals, IEPs, and preferred modes of communication
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, fellow specialists, and families to ensure comprehensive educational support
• Travel between schools and educational sites to provide services as needed (not based at a single school)
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports for each student on your caseload
