Overview

Service Point is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for a hybrid contract opportunity with one of our customers in Yuba City, CA. The ideal candidate will have broad technical expertise across enterprise infrastructure domains and play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable systems. This role reports to the IT Manager and will focus on VMware virtualization, network storage, Citrix environments, Active Directory, Office 365, and both LAN and WAN networking.

Essential Functions

Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-level infrastructure solutions to support business operations and growth.
Manage VMware infrastructure, including provisioning, performance tuning, and resource optimization.
Design and administer multi-tiered network storage solutions, including SAN (Storage Area Network) and NAS (Network Attached Storage).
Administer and optimize Dell/EMC storage environments.
Manage Citrix environments (Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC/Net Scaler) to ensure high availability and performance.
Maintain and optimize Active Directory and Office 365, including identity management, authentication, and security configurations.
Develop and maintain LAN/WAN architecture, ensuring redundancy, scalability, and security.
Implement and enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.
Contribute to the design and execution of Data-Centric Security Architectures.
Collaborate with cybersecurity, compliance, and application teams to align infrastructure with business and security needs.
Conduct capacity planning and performance analysis to maintain high service availability.
Lead or support infrastructure-related projects, providing technical mentorship to junior engineers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or systems administration in a complex enterprise environment.
Proven expertise in:

Data center infrastructure optimization
VMware Server Virtualization
Dell/EMC storage administration
Citrix administration (Virtual Apps, Desktops, Citrix ADC/Net Scaler)
Dell server infrastructure
Data protection practices and strategies
Windows and Linux administration
Active Directory (GPOs, OU structure, Federation)
Office 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive)
Network storage (SAN, NAS) including tiered storage solutions
LAN/WAN network design (routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers)

Preferred Qualifications

Expert-level certifications: MCSE, VMware VCP, Citrix CCE-V, or equivalent.
Experience with hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
Scripting and automation (Power Shell, Python).
Experience with monitoring/management platforms (Solar Winds, Whats Up Gold, Netwrix).
Strong understanding of enterprise security principles and best practices.
Experience with regulatory requirements and audits.
Background in managing infrastructure for financial institutions.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends when required.
