American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN for a Day shift (3x10) position requiring CA RN licensure and Epic EMR experience.

• PACU unit setting within an inpatient surgical hospital
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Day shift schedule, 3x10 hours, 8:00 AM-6:30 PM
• Fixed schedule of Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
• Epic EMR experience required

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred

• Provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients across a wide range of specialties including orthopedics, neuro, cardiac, and general surgery
• Monitor and manage patients recovering from various types of anesthesia including general, spinal, and MAC
• Perform airway and respiratory assessments, including care of ventilated or newly extubated patients
• Local candidates accepted at the local rate
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius to qualify for local rate
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract
• Holiday coverage required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
• Returning staff or travelers must have a 1-year separation before reapplying
