Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Job Location: Redlands, CA

Work Schedule: 100% on-site, Monday–Friday

Compensation: $80k–$100k Base Salary DOE + 100% Employer-Paid Health Benefits for both Employee & Family

• 2+ years of professional accounting experience, including hands-on industry/corporate accounting
• At least 1 yr of Construction accounting experience
• Strong GL accounting with strong working knowledge of GAAP, month-end closing, journal entries, fixed assets and account reconciliations
• Financial statement preparation and external audit support experience
• ERP/accounting systems experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

• CPA or CPA candidate

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support hands-on accounting operations within its growing construction business. This role will take ownership of general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting while working closely with the Controller and Accounting Manager.

• Manage month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and accruals
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet and account reconciliations
• Support general ledger accounting and ensure transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with GAAP
• Manage fixed asset accounting, prepaids, and other balance sheet accounts
• Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting activities
• Support external audits and maintain accurate accounting documentation
• Review existing close processes and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement
• Partner closely with the Controller and Accounting Manager while independently managing assigned accounting responsibilities
