Adjunct Head Coach, Women's Swimming
San Bernardino Community College District accepts applications for part-time, hourly adjunct positions for our two college campuses (San Bernardino Valley College and Crafton Hills College) on a continuous basis. However, this does not imply the department is actively recruiting for this position. If there is an interest and/or need within the specific department, applicants who meet the minimum requirements will be contacted by respective department deans and/or faculty chairs.
Applications submitted will remain active for up to one (1) year. The Athletic Director will determine amount of coaching stipend for Adjunct Head Coach assignment, not to exceed $7,000. Please note that there is additional compensation if assigned a teaching assignment. This posting is to establish a pool of qualified applicants positions as Adjunct Head Coach, Women's Swimming. Qualifications:
Knowledge of and demonstrated commitment to compliance with NCAA, CCCAA, state and other applicable regulations;
Demonstrated ability to improve athletes' skills using proven coaching strategies and techniques;
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, evaluate and adapt in a dynamic educational environment;
Experience teaching Kinesiology activity courses at the collegiate level;
Strong commitment to professional development, maintaining positive relationships within the community and remaining current in the field;
Ability to work effectively and professionally with colleague, management, classified staff and others outside the college and; excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Special Instructions:
