As a member of the Morongo Basin Healthcare District (MBHD) team your mission is to improve the health and wellness of the communities we serve. You will be required to interact with patients, the public, co‑workers, and management in fulfilling your mission.
In your role as Patient Registration Clerk you will report to Patient Access Manager. Your responsibilities will include greeting and registering patients, completing paperwork, answering telephones, collecting co‑pays, scheduling appointments for patients, and performing general office functions as needed.
Education and Experience Required- High School diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 6 months of experience in customer service, healthcare experience, insurance verification
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Experience with electronic medical records programs preferred
