Mojave Flea Trading Post, a 5k sqft department store located in old town Yucca Valley, is seeking part time and full time sales associates. We are looking for energetic and creative sales team members who will be working in a meaningful retail environment.

Our Trading Post stores are destination based, regionally focused marketplaces highlighting the very best in apothecary, apparel, accessories, housewares, art, design, fine vintage + food & beverage.

We are looking for energetic, creative and driven sales team members who will be working in a meaningful, high touch retail environment. Our company values individuality and a desire to make a difference in the retail community.

Our company represents over 200 small businesses, creating opportunities for artisans and makers, and you, to thrive outside of the traditional bounds of commerce. As a team member you will be working alongside these founders and artists, maintaining their spaces within our store and representing their brands to our clients. When it comes to Mojave Flea Trading Post, guest experience is everything!

• Greets and initiates conversation with customers, sharing product recommendations and information about the store and its makers
• Assists customers with fitting rooms and jewelry cases, provides shopping baskets, and utilizes POS systems to complete transactions

• Builds productive relationships with peers; asks for support when needed and makes an effort to help others
• Participates in the learning and sharing of product knowledge, taking time to connect with our brands and makers
• Contributes to a positive team morale participating in store initiatives such as monthly sales goals
• Provides insights related to the customer and employee experience and communicates feedback to Store Managers

• Supports store and brands by restocking as needed and as directed by Management
• Maintains a tidy and organized store, stockroom, and break area
• Supports in floor fixture moves as directed by Store Managers and Visual Team

• At least 1 year of experience related to retail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Highly adaptable with an ability to multitask
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and bank holidays (Required)
