Registered Dental Hygienist - PT

Job Purpose – Part-Time The Registered Dental Hygienist at HIRE INTRODUCTION LLC, a temporary staffing solutions agency, provides high-quality oral hygiene services and patient care on for this part-time position. The role involves working collaboratively with dentists to deliver comprehensive preventive care, educating patients on proper oral hygiene, and promoting long-term dental health. Candidates must hold an active license and demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and a strong commitment to patient satisfaction across a variety of clinical settings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance procedures for patients.

- Conduct oral health assessments and screenings, identifying potential oral health issues.

- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide guidance on maintaining optimal oral health.

- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as required.

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

- Stay updated with the latest dental hygiene practices and technologies by attending continuing education courses and maintaining required certifications and licenses.

- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment by adhering to infection control protocols and sterilization procedures.

- Collaborate with the dental team to provide a seamless and positive patient experience.

- Participate in community outreach and education programs to promote oral health awareness.

Required

Education:

- Active license for Dental Hygienist
- Maintain required certifications and renewals
- Maintain required annual continuing education (CE) hours

Required Experience:

- Demonstrated ability to perform dental hygiene procedures effectively and efficiently
- Experience in patient education and oral health promotion
- Proficiency in using dental software and technology- 1-2 years of experience in a dental practice setting preferred
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
- Familiarity with the latest dental hygiene techniques and practices
