Compensation: Up to $350,000/year
About the OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Hospitalist to join our inpatient team as a 1099 independent contractor. This role is ideal for physicians who value autonomy, a predictable block schedule, and the ability to maximize earnings while maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive inpatient hospitalist care, including admissions, rounding, and discharges
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions across a diverse adult patient population
- Collaborate with nursing, case management, and specialty teams to ensure high-quality care
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care coordination
- Complete accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements
- MD or DO with active, unrestricted state medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Prior hospitalist or inpatient experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage complex cases independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working as a 1099 contractor
- Competitive 1099 compensation with earning potential up to $350,000 annually
