Job Location:

Yukon, OK 73099, Primary Care Physician | Direct Primary Care

Oklahoma City and Tulsa Metro Areas | New Locations Considered

Remember why you went into medicine? Let's get you back there.

Primary Health Partners (PHP) is looking for primary care physicians who want the time, autonomy and support to practice medicine the way they envisioned when they entered the profession.

PHP was founded in 2016 by two physicians who left traditional health care systems to create a better way to practice. Their goal was simple: put the physician-patient relationship back at the center of primary care. That physician-founded perspective still shapes how we support our doctors, grow our clinics and care for our patients.

At PHP, physicians typically spend 30 to 60 minutes with each patient and see six to 10 patients a day. Success isn't measured by how many patients you can move through the office. There's no insurance billing, no production quota and no pressure to rush. Clinical decisions are made by physicians and patients, not insurance companies.

It's the best of old-school medicine, supported by modern, physician-friendly technology.

We want to hear from you, wherever you are

We're recruiting physicians for current and future clinics throughout the Oklahoma City and Tulsa metro areas.

If you're rooted in a community outside our current footprint and believe it needs better access to relationship-based primary care, we still want to meet you. For the right physician and community, PHP is open to discussing a new clinic. Tell us where you want to practice and why direct primary care would make a difference there.

You won't have to build it alone

Moving into direct primary care can feel like a big change. PHP has built the infrastructure and support to make that transition successful.

Our growing base of employer partners means you start with patients, not an empty schedule. Our dedicated business development and marketing teams keep your panel growing through employer partnerships, community relationships, local events, digital marketing and clinic and new physician launch strategies. Our operations and support teams handle the business side so you can focus on your patients.

You get the rewards of direct primary care without having to launch, market and run a practice on your own.

What your practice looks like
  • A patient panel of 600 to 800, about a quarter the size of a typical primary care panel
  • Comprehensive, longitudinal care for patients of all ages, based on your training
  • Time to address prevention, chronic conditions and the root causes of health concerns
  • No insurance billing, coding or prior authorizations
  • Clinical autonomy to make decisions with your patients
  • A user-friendly EMR and technology platform built for physicians
  • On-site lab and pharmacy, with wholesale pricing passed directly to patients
Room to grow

A smaller panel and collaborative environment give you room to do more than keep up with a packed schedule. You'll have time to think deeply, solve complex problems, pursue new clinical interests and learn from your physician peers. And if you want to help shape new clinics, improve care delivery or strengthen the DPC model, there's a real opportunity to contribute beyond your own practice.

Benefits
  • Base salary
  • Medical, dental, vision and life insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid malpractice coverage and professional licensure
  • Flexible scheduling and paid time off
Qualifications:

What we're looking for
  • MD or DO degree
  • Board certified in family medicine, internal medicine or internal medicine-pediatrics
  • Licensed in Oklahoma or eligible to obtain an Oklahoma medical license
  • Committed to comprehensive, relationship-based primary care
  • Curious, collaborative and motivated to keep learning

Direct primary care experience isn't required. We'll help you learn the model and support your transition.

Start a conversation

You don't have to be actively searching for a new position to talk with us. If this sounds like the practice you've been looking for, or the one you thought no longer existed, we'd welcome a confidential conversation.

Come practice medicine with time, autonomy, support and purpose.
