Mental Health Professional - $7.5k Bonus
Compensation: $36 – $47 / hour

About the OpportunityWe are a mission‑driven organization committed to providing compassionate, evidence‑based care to the underserved. The Mental Health Professional will offer direct clinical services—including individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and mental‑health consultation—under the supervision of the Mental Health Coordinator, Clinical Supervisor, or Mental Health Director.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct clinical and consultation services in line with policies, procedures, and professional ethical standards, including individual and group psychotherapy.
- Deliver crisis intervention services, consulting with institutional staff as needed, and manage mental‑health follow‑ups for self‑referred or institutionally referred individuals.
- Complete clinical service reports and relevant documentation, including diagnostic evaluations and psychological testing, ensuring timely, professional reporting per company policies and state regulations.
- Offer consultation services to institutional committees and staff, addressing mental status and management concerns, and support institutional psychiatric staff in monitoring mental conditions.
- Participate in staff meetings, in‑service training, and specialized clinical services or program development, ensuring accountability through timely and accurate documentation as part of the Quality Improvement program.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a behavioral or social science field from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Coursework and professional experience that indicates knowledge of mental health counseling, group and individual psychotherapy, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, psychological assessment techniques, crisis intervention, and mental health consultation.
Licenses/Certifications: LSW, LMSW, LPC, or similar licensure in the state from the appropriate licensing board; must maintain CPR and any other required certifications (e.g., First Aid).
