Our Blood Institute is actively seeking qualified candidates with a proven track record of reliable service to provide a safe and pleasant blood donation experience for donors.

Competitive pay based on experience, ranging from $15.00 to $20.00 per hour, with additional pay for technical school certifications, associate degrees, bachelor's degrees, and fluency in Spanish. Includes world‑class paid on‑the‑job training. $500 bonus after 6 months and $1,000 bonus after 1 year.

Varied; flexible schedule including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.

• Perform registration, vitals, medical screening, phlebotomy, heat‑sealing duties and record keeping associated with whole‑blood, autologous, directed, therapeutic, testing services, research projects, etc.
• Strictly adhere to all standard operating procedures ensuring all blood products are collected within the quality standards set forth by regulatory agencies including the FDA.
• Assist supervisor in verifying and completing daily paperwork.
• Alert the supervisor of any problems or concerns related to equipment, venipuncture, donor questions/issues, or equipment performance.
• Continually assess donor needs throughout the donation process, including evaluating and treating donor reactions.
• Educate donors on blood fact information such as donation frequency, need for blood products, etc.
• All other duties assigned by supervisor.

High school diploma or GED; college classes are a plus. Must have reliable transportation, a working telephone, be able to stand for long periods, and lift 40 lbs regularly. Strong customer service, professionalism, donor care, technical ability, punctuality, reliability, good communication, detail‑oriented, and teamwork.
