- Work Model: 100% Remote (Must reside in Oklahoma)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Overtime: Possible but not required
- Department: Quality Improvement – Quality of Care Team
The Behavioral Health Professional supports the Quality Improvement team by reviewing behavioral health Quality of Care concerns and assisting with provider education. This role focuses on behavioral health clinical reviews to help reduce workload on Medical Directors and ensure compliance with state and regulatory requirements.
Unlike traditional crisis triage roles, this position is primarily focused on behavioral health medical record review, documentation evaluation, and provider education
.
- Review behavioral health Quality of Care cases and medical records
- Evaluate documentation and identify potential quality concerns
- Assign appropriate leveling and recommendations according to policy guidelines
- Provide provider education through:
- Virtual or occasional in-person meetings
- Support state contractual requirements and compliance processes
- Collaborate with internal quality team members and clinicians
- Document findings, actions, and outcomes accurately in internal systems
- Analyze behavioral health documentation for compliance and quality standards
- Identify clinical gaps and recommend improvement strategies
- Educate providers on documentation requirements and best practices
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
- Support recovery-oriented and evidence-based practices
- Master’s degree in Behavioral Health or related field (Required)
- LPC or LCSW (Required)
- Minimum 2+ years behavioral health experience
- Experience in clinical documentation review, therapy, crisis intervention, intake, or case management
- Behavioral health clinical knowledge
- Behavioral health documentation and chart review expertise
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Managed care or quality improvement environment
- Telephonic or remote clinical work
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Comfortable educating and collaborating with providers
- Strong documentation and technical proficiency
- Able to work independently in a remote environment
- Active clinical license required
- Driver’s license required
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship)
