Exterior Services Technician, DOT Operator - DS

Responsibilities

• Mow, trim, and prune lawns, shrubs, bushes, trees, and flowers throughout the year.
• Maintain grounds on parking lots, exterior building areas, and surrounding grounds to keep them clean.
• Work as part of a team responsible for all aspects of landscaping and exterior cleaning/ground maintenance.
• Adhere to safety, security, and integrity standards, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and local, federal, and state regulations.
• Travel as necessary to perform essential functions of the position.

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.
• Successfully complete and pass a road test for the combination truck and trailer operated within the scope of work.
• Obtain appropriate licensing and/or endorsements for operating within the scope of work.
• Excellent communication skills: present information to small or large audiences, communicate effectively in person or via telecommunications equipment.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as loading, unloading, moving, and using tools required for the role.
• Safely operate a combination motor vehicle of 10,000 lbs to 26,000 lbs, requiring a valid driver’s license or certification.
• Abide by all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• DOT physical and secure medical certification with a minimum 90‑day card.

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Certified Facilities Manager (CFM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or related certification.
• Third‑party management experience.
