Position: Video Analyst (Grade 8) (Temporary Full-Time)

This position is advertised from the minimum to the maximum hourly rate. Salary will be determined based on education and experience at the time of offer.

NATURE OF WORK

Under close supervision, performs work of a routine nature in a legal office environment; this position has office specific responsibility.

(Illustrative Only) Reviews, redacts and copies recordings contained on digital media; reviews, redacts and copies digital images; reviews, redacts and copies electronic documents; enters information and digital files into case management system; transcribes meeting and interview notes and recordings; develops and maintains office records and files; prepares and processes confidential and sensitive legal documents and correspondence; sorts, indexes and retrieves forms, correspondence and documents;

checks and completes records, forms and documents; creates and maintains logs of activities; regular and reliable attendance is required; performs other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent; AND one year of experience working in an office environment; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience; requires a successful completion of a background check.
Special Requirements: Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.

Knowledge of:
  • County policies and procedures
  • general office practices and procedures
  • business English, spelling, punctuation, and grammatical usage
  • digital editing software, practices and procedures
Skilled in:
  • Maintaining confidentiality
  • the use of the English language, including spelling, punctuation and grammar
  • the preparation of documents and reports
  • operating various office equipment and word processing
  • creating and maintaining files
  • taking and recording notes
  • establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, other agencies and the public
  • prioritizing work assignments to meet time constraints
Ability to:
  • Plan, prioritizes, manages and responds to multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • accomplish assigned tasks under minimal supervision
  • use modern office equipment and computers
  • communicate effectively verbally and written
  • lift up to 5 – 25 lbs.
Work Environment:

The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity; generally the job requires 60% sitting, 20% walking and 20% standing; working at a computer monitor for extended periods required; the job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.

There is an extreme likelihood of exposure to graphic images and recordings.
