- Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; equivalent experience in a construction-related position will also be considered.
- 10+ years of utility-scale electrical construction and estimating experience.
- Valid Master Electrician license or reciprocal to the state of employment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and construction practices.
- Experience estimating and developing bids for utility-scale electrical projects.
- Extensive experience with all field installation techniques and methods.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Safety-oriented; 10-hour and 30-hour OSHA certificates preferred.
- Strong work ethic; willing to do what it takes to complete projects successfully.
- Ability to function as a team builder and player.
- Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate effectively with bid team members.
- Willingness and ability to travel to project sites and provide support.
- Ability to access all points of a construction site in various climates.
- Manage construction safety protocols.
- Ensure environmental compliance.
- Maintain quality standards.
- Understand and manage project costs and budgets.
- Schedule and oversee crew workforce, equipment, and tools for optimal utilization and quality of work.
- Review timecards and invoices for proper cost allocation and accountability.
- Ensure all employees are current with safety policies, training, and equipment.
- Engage in business development and manage client relationships.
