Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose patients with chronic pain conditions, including musculoskeletal, neuropathic, and other pain syndromes
  • Perform a variety of interventional pain management procedures, such as epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, joint injections, and radio frequency ablations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate both interventional and non-interventional approaches, including medication management, physical therapy, and psychological support
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers, including physical therapists, psychologists, and anesthesiologists, to create a holistic approach to pain management
  • Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and evolving needs
  • Stay current with advancements in interventional pain management techniques and technologies
  • Provide education and counseling to patients regarding their pain conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of procedures, progress notes, and treatment plans
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including HIPAA, and maintain high standards of patient care and safety
Requirements
  • MD/DO from an accredited medical school
  • Active and unrestricted Arizona medical license (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation - Physiatry
  • Active and unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
