IT Principal Trainer – Full Time (Remote).
Location:
2400 S Ave A, Yuma, AZ 85364. Job . Date Posted: 01/23/2026. This role reports to the Director of Training and collaborates with the training coordinator, application leads, and application Directors to develop and maintain the training program for end users.
- Develop role-based training content independently or with team members, using various software programs, tools, and applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain instructional materials; maintain policy and procedure documentation.
- Incorporate feedback into training and training administration procedures; deliver instruction and evaluations to identified end users (staff, students, affiliates, and physicians).
- Apply adult learning theory and adapt training techniques to diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with Credentialed Trainers and end users to determine training needs and objectives.
- Assist in developing or modifying curriculum, content, and materials to meet end-user needs.
- Conduct, facilitate, and evaluate information systems training using appropriate methodologies and content for end users in assigned areas.
- Ensure a consistent training approach across modules; provide problem resolution and on-site/remote support with Super Users, Epic Analysts, Clinical Educators, Directors, Service Desk, SMEs, and vendor technical support.
- Build, test, and maintain training environments; stay informed on workflow design and system functionality supporting workflows.
- Mentor team members during curriculum development and instructional media creation; identify and educate Credentialed Trainers and superusers at sites.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Education Required:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent
Education Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field
Minimum Experience Required:
- 3 years of experience in healthcare, technology, education, or business-related field
- Prior training experience on large projects with adaptive techniques
- Computer navigation proficiency
- Strong public speaking/presentation skills
- 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Experience Preferred:
- 5+ years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Detailed understanding of workflows and system configuration
Compensation:
Base hiring salary range listed as Min = $95,439.68, Mid = $, Max = $.
Location:
Remote with onsite option at Yuma, AZ; labor law and state restrictions apply.
