Ideal Qualifications &

Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification for Arizona
• Experience or interest in working with students on the autism spectrum
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including support staff and therapists

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students using evidence-based strategies
• Write and implement effective, measurable IEPs
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Partner with paraprofessionals, RBTs, and other specialists as part of a collaborative team
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and school events as needed
