Instructional Support Specialist Calibre Academy of Yuma Onsite 10-month Full-Time | 2026–2027 School YearSchedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30-4pm.
Position OverviewCalibre Academy of Yuma is seeking a caring, dependable, and student-focused Instructional Support Specialist to support students and teachers in creating a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities- Provide one-on-one and small-group academic support.
- Assist students with assignments, organization, and classroom activities.
- Support student focus, behavior, and social-emotional needs as appropriate.
- Assist teachers with classroom preparation, materials, and activities.
- Help students with their online sessions.
- Support testing, field trips, school events, and other site activities.
- Communicate student concerns to teachers or school leadership.
- Maintain student confidentiality and follow all school policies and safety requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with children or adolescents preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Patient, dependable, flexible, and positive.
- Ability to work with students of different ages and learning needs.
- Must successfully complete required background checks.
