Summary

Join us at Bombardier’s new Abu Dhabi Service Center, a state-of-the-art flagship facility at Al Bateen Executive Airport, set to go live in Q1 2027. This center will offer advanced MRO capabilities and support the entire Bombardier aircraft portfolio. This position is based in Abu Dhabi. The selected candidate must relocate and establish residence in Abu Dhabi. Please apply only if you are prepared to relocate and reside in Abu Dhabi.

This position is open to candidates currently based in the UAE; relocation support is not available. UAE Nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.

What are your contributions to the team?
  • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
  • Perform and document all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
  • Train, coach, and support other employees.
  • Perform complete engine runs as required.
  • Perform complex repairs on aircraft systems.
  • Supervise Mechanics when carrying out maintenance tasks and determine that relevant tasks or inspections have been carried out to the required standard.
  • Release maintenance tasks that are performed by yourself or under your supervision for which you are trained and authorized.
  • Sign off base maintenance tasks that are performed by yourself or under your supervision, in support of Certifying Staff Category

    C.
  • Perform maintenance at off-site locations.
  • Assist when providing time estimates.
How to thrive in this role?
  • Hold a GCAA and/or EASA Part 66 Aircraft Technician License: B2 and/or

    C.
  • Be type-rated on relevant Bombardier Business Aircraft Type including Challenger and Global series.
  • Have operated as an experienced licensed aircraft technician, taking ownership of complex maintenance assignments, signing off aircraft to ensure airworthiness, and mentoring junior colleagues, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience of Bombardier Aircraft type, i.e., Global &/or Challenger series.
  • Have up-to-date basic knowledge requirements of Appendix I to Part-66.
  • Have basic knowledge of Part-M, Part-145, and any other relevant regulations.
  • Have knowledge of, and practice of, human factors, human performance, and limitations.
  • Have knowledge on EWIS and CDCCL when relevant.

    Have the ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings.
  • Be able to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual tasks and/or aircraft status.
  • Be highly proficient in using standard tools, special tools, and operating ground support equipment.
  • Have the ability to work in accordance with maintenance data and notify the function responsible of defects or mistakes requiring rectification to re-establish required maintenance standards.
  • Able to work in shifts and occasional night shifts (if required).
  • Able to travel for business needs on short notice.
