Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
KSA Missile Assembly/Disassembly Facility Software Suite tasks- Develop requirements, work with developers to implement them, and verify proper implementation.
- Coordinate installation of the Software Suite in a development environment, preload depot work instructions and hardware data, and run test scenarios to ensure the software functions correctly.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for THAAD Interceptor Services depot operations.
- Ensure that requirements and implementation support the broader Interceptor Services programs including the Stockpile Reliability Program, test and metric data capture, and data exchanges to enable continuous improvement.
- Ensure that any improvements are executed in a manner that sustains the overall Interceptor Sustainment effort.
- Inform broader Interceptor Services team of latest MA/DF status during Interceptor Services IPT.
Lead the development of a PPP for a new organic THAAD missile repair depot, which will include:
- Determining the PPP model that best aligns with the overall THAAD Interceptor Services program.
- Defining Lockheed’s role in organic depot operations and shaping the PPP to reflect that strategy.
- Identifying the technical data and other information required to transfer to the Government to support the organic depot.
- Collaborating with internal THAAD stakeholders and Government personnel to create a detailed schedule for depot stand up.
- Understanding of sustainment & logistics principles, such as the 12 IPS elements
- Past experience in working depot and sustainment operations
- Experience in working closely with government customers on depot and sustainment operations
- Solid understanding of manufacturing and/or depot operational flow related to facility capacity and utilization
- Knowledgeable on facility requirements traceability
- Past work on Public Private Partnerships (PPP)
- Depot operation management
- FMS and/or USG work share contracts
- Proposal writing through to execution
Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00
