Cost Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our team. This role combines financial analysis, cost accounting, and data-driven insights to support strategic business decisions and support our Finance team.

• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Develop and maintain cost models, budgeting frameworks, and forecasting tools.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Assist with cost analysis including product costing, margin analysis, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with Finance team on general accounting duties, including month‑end closing cycle.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data within systems and reports.
• Support financial planning, pricing strategies, and profitability analysis.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Proven experience in financial analysis and cost accounting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
• Knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills to present insights to stakeholders.

• Experience in manufacturing, operations, or cost-intensive environments.
• Advanced data analytics or automation experience.
• Understanding of pricing strategies and cost optimization techniques.

• Hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
