Community Liaison Specialist Security Clearance

Position: COMMUNITY LIAISON SPECIALIST with Security Clearance
Duties
* You will analyze land use proposals, zoning requests, and development plans, prepare well supported recommendations, and coordinate with government officials to help protect mission requirements while balancing community interests.
* You will maintain productive relationships with local governments, organizations, and community representatives by attending meetings, providing briefings, resolving concerns, and supporting cooperative planning efforts for shared goals.
* You will manage programs that document and evaluate aircraft noise and damage concerns, investigate complaints, prepare reports, maintain accurate records, and coordinate appropriate responses with responsible offices.
* You will review planning documents, environmental studies, and mapping information, evaluate potential impacts to military operations, and recommend practical solutions that support long term land use compatibility.
* You will prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and informational materials for leadership, elected officials, community groups, and partner organizations while ensuring information is accurate, timely, and well documented.
* You will represent the organization at public meetings, hearings, conferences, and community events, explain policies and operational concerns, and build trusted partnerships that strengthen communication and support informed decisions. Requirements Conditions of employment

Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Specialized experience with monitoring and reporting complex land use development matters or encroachment challenges affecting the operations of an organization; serving as an organization's advisor with senior leaders at various local, regional, national agencies or other key stakeholders on matters involving land use development matters or encroachment challenges.
