Job Title
Job duties include conducting patrols, performing investigations, apprehending suspects, performing surveillance activities, conducting searches, and making enforcement contacts.
Additional duties include preparing reports, taking and giving depositions, testifying in court, and maintaining liaison with other Federal, State, County, and local law enforcement agencies.
Enforcement of compliance with recreation use permits is also required.
Protection of crime and accident scenes involving both criminal and environmental offenses is necessary.
Conducting interviews with witnesses to crimes, accidents, and security breaches is part of the role.
Interviewing and recommending staff for appointments is also required.
Developing performance standards, evaluating staff performance, and planning work assignments are part of the responsibilities.
Identifying developmental and training needs of employees is also necessary.
