Full-Time Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our Rehabilitation team. This role is responsible for evaluating, planning, administering, and supervising Occupational Therapy treatments in accordance with physician referrals, state regulations, and established departmental policies.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical competency and provide age-appropriate, patient-centered care across a diverse patient population.

• Conduct comprehensive functional assessments within departmental time frames
• Develop individualized, measurable, and goal-oriented treatment plans
• Initiate discharge planning and recommend modifications to care as needed
• Collaborate with patients and caregivers in goal setting

• Deliver skilled OT interventions in a safe and effective manner
• Adjust treatment plans based on patient progress
• Educate patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members

• Complete accurate and timely documentation per regulatory standards
• Communicate patient progress and treatment plans clearly to physicians and care teams
• Defend treatment rationale using evidence-based practice
• Delegate appropriately to COTAs, therapy technicians, and students
• Participate in staff training and competency validation
• Support department productivity standards and process improvements
• Adapt to varying caseloads and scheduling needs

• Master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
• Current Occupational Therapy License (State of Arizona or eligible)
• Current BLS Certification
• Minimum 1 year of hospital-based experience preferred
• OTR (Occupational Therapist Registered) preferred
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and patient care software
• Willingness to relocate to Yuma, AZ (if residing 100+ miles away)
• Salary Range: $40.82 – $51.03 per hour
• Sign-On Bonus:
• $5,000 (1-year commitment)
• $10,000 (2-year commitment)
• Relocation Assistance:
• $2,500 (1-year commitment)
