• Releases information according to established policy and laws
• Performs rounded scanning and any other necessary scanning projects
• Delivers and/or picks up hard copy medical record information to designated areas as requested
• Retrieves PACS image burning to CDs in response to requests
• Inputs and retrieves data utilizing computer systems to prioritize and monitor for the completion of requests and monitoring EPIC work queues
• Supports MyCare administration by establishing codes, setup and navigation
• Routes transcription work
• Processes information prep, summary, quality review and analysis, and data entry in the EHR as appropriate
• Receives and responds to telephone calls pertaining to all HIM related questions
• Responds to requests for information requiring proper authorization
