Key Responsibilities
Finishing & Assembly:
Perform finishing operations using various finishing equipment such as grommet press, sewing machine, cutters, and various hand tools safely, efficiently and accurately.
Packaging of signage products according to individual product and work order specifications.
Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance to ensure optimal performance and report equipment issues or maintenance needs to appropriate personnel.
Read and interpret work orders and establish priority needs to meet deadlines and due dates and stage finished products for shipping, pickup and/or installation.
Assist with monitoring and replenishing finishing materials and supplies and notify Supervisor and/or Production Manager in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company policies.
Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Quality ControlInspect finished products to verify accuracy, quality and adherence to company and client standards to ensure final products meet all work order requirements before release.
Identify defects or inconsistencies and communicate issues promptly for correction.
Work closely with production and shipping teams to support efficient workflow.
Qualifications & SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical or manufacturing training is a plus.
Prior experience in a finishing, manufacturing, or signage production environment preferred.
Familiarity with finishing tools, equipment, and materials used in signage production.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team.
Good communication skills and a positive, reliable work ethic.
Work EnvironmentHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical or manufacturing training is a plus.
Prior experience in a finishing, manufacturing, or signage production environment preferred.
Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Capability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50-75 pounds with or without assistance.
Ability to bend, reach, kneel and work with tools and equipment throughout the shift.
