Summary

Under minimal supervision, the Provider Experience & Integration Coordinator develops and implements strategies to foster relationships and support providers in alignment with Onvida Health Medical Group goals and objectives. This role ensures a provider experience from onboarding through ongoing education and offboarding, supporting compliance, satisfaction, and engagement. This position coordinates the initial onboarding process and is responsible for tracking physician/APP training and ongoing education for the Medical Group.

The Provider Experience & Integration Coordinator collaborates with various internal departments and/or external vendors, serving as the liaison, to ensure appropriate annual physician/APP training/education occurs and is meticulously recorded/tracked in compliance with regulatory standards and according to Medical Group requirements. Understands and is educated on all key systems used by providers (EPIC, Health Stream, Ready Set, and related applications) to ensure that they are accurately tracked, monitored, and that providers remain current with system access and compliance.

Responsibilities

Coordinates and tracks physician/APP onboarding and training as determined by director and medical group leadership along with regulatory requirements to align with physician/APP start date. Maintains detailed records to track each component based on the individual physician/APPs specialties and relationship to the organization. Provides concierge level service to all physicians/APPs and in doing so, exemplifies Onvida Health's purpose, pillars, and values.

Collaborates with the Director to identify initial and annual physician/APP training/education and detailed onboarding tracking/reporting needs (CME via GME, medical staff tracking, coding education/charge capture, Health Stream, ATUs, revenue cycle, etcetera) thereby developing the annual calendar and metrics for all medical group physician/APPs in partnership with various Onvida Health departments and team members.

Develop and manage physician/APP tracking structure to maintain accurate and up-to-date physician/APP records of all onboarding and training activities, ensuring detailed reporting metrics and analytics, identified by leadership to validate Medical Group/organizational goals are met. Partner with Onvida Health departments to provide a regular cadence of reporting/updates on physician/APPs status in completing annual onboarding or training requirements under their purview. Serving as the subject matter expert related to all physician/APPs tracking status at any given point in time.

Monitor physician/APPs status in completing annual onboarding and training requirements. Follow up with physicians/APPs as appropriate who are either approaching delinquency or may be delinquent in these obligations, while ensuring operational leader awareness and support, until the requirements are completed and/or in compliance. Facilitates communication between departments to ensure smooth onboarding, annual compliance, and off boarding processes for physicians/APPs, maintaining accurate timelines and closure of all related records.

Aids in identifying physician/APP training gaps and coordinates one-on-one training or education for the provider with the appropriate staff member or department (CMIO, Epic trainer, coding, charge capture, etcetera) to ensure physician/APP understanding, improvement, and success in the specific area of difficulty.

Facilitates training and audits across departments to ensure consistency in provider coding and compliance standards.
