• Inpatient RN is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care.
• Provide leadership through roles such as preceptor, informal/formal leadership, and quality improvement efforts.
• Delegate patient care according to skill level, patient acuity, and resource availability.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team; participate on committees or projects.
• Practice within the Scope and Standards of Practice as outlined by the American Nurses Association and state law.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care; use evidence-based assessment techniques; develop culturally appropriate individualized care plans.
• Implement and coordinate care delivery in partnership with patient, family, and healthcare team members; prioritize interventions and ensure timely delivery of evidence-based treatments.
• Promote health and a safe environment; provide patient and family teaching and self-management support; maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment.
• Evaluate progress toward outcomes; revise diagnoses, outcomes, and plans as needed; document reassessment and rationale for revisions.
• Uphold professional ethics, maintain therapeutic nurse-patient relationships, advocate for patients, and engage in ethical decision-making as required.
• Incorporate evidence-based practices and participate in research activities as appropriate; share findings with the team.

• Credentials: Basic Life Support (BLS);
  Registered Nurse (RN)
• Education: Associate’s Degree
• Experience: 1+ years related experience
• Licensing: AZ RN license
• Additional credentials may be required depending on department
