• Perform Compensation and Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans.
• Conduct interview‑based evaluations with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete exams without prescribing or treating.
• Provide timely reports, including addendums and medical opinions, following each assessment.
• Complete evaluations at designated locations or remotely, following specified schedules.

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure with a background in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.
• Experience with compensation and pension or similar assessment work is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to perform detailed interviews and assessments.
• Ability to work independently and adhere to strict deadlines.

• Prior experience performing VA or military‑related evaluations.
• Familiarity with physical assessment procedures.
• Licenses and certifications relevant to general medicine practice.

• Active Nurse Practitioner license.
• Prior clinical experience in internal or family medicine.
• Experience in medico‑legal or assessment roles is advantageous.
• Flexible availability for PRN work, including half‑day (4 hours) and full‑day (8 hours) shifts.

• Local candidates preferred; travel costs are included in rates.
• Ability to work in designated geographic areas within specified radii.
• Willingness to complete onboarding and training efficiently.
• No need for prior certifications in DMA or portal training, as these are not reimbursed.

This position offers hourly rates at $402.00, with flat rates for half‑day ($600) and full‑day ($1200) shifts, plus a one‑time bonus of $650 upon completing training and your first exams.
