As a program security professional you’ll safeguard sensitive information and war fighting capabilities, working with security experts and military members to support operational objectives.

The Work
  • The position will be assigned to the LM RMS Special Access Program (SAP) Security Team at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Yuma, Arizona.
  • Responsible for integration and execution of contractor and government security operations and for preparing, maintaining, and enforcing security policy and procedures within the Special Program environment.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of NISPOM, DoD 5205.07, ICD 705, and the Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG).
  • Oversee visitor access and serve as the first line of security defense at the Special Access Program Facility (SAPF).
  • Execute handling and storage of classified documents and electronic media, and support access‑control procedures.
  • Perform random and entry/exit searches, conduct self‑inspections, prepare for customer inspections, assist in security investigations, and communicate professionally during enforcement of security policy.
  • Interact daily with senior military officers, enlisted personnel, and key government stakeholders.
  • Support first, second, or third shift operations, including weekends, with potential non‑standard schedules.

Basic Qualifications
  • Current SECRET security clearance with an investigation within 5 years of the investigation closed date or confirmed enrollment in the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI clearance or confirmed enrollment in CE if mission requirements dictate.
  • Access to Special Access Programs (SAPs) and available to obtain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) if required.
  • Familiarity with working in classified environments and classified materials.
  • Basic knowledge of DoD Manual 5205.07 (including Volume
    4), DoD Manual 5200.01 Volumes 1‑3, ICD 705, and associated technical specifications.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with access‑control and intrusion‑detection systems.
  • Prior experience with GSA containers and documents.
  • Experience with the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and Joint Access Database Environment (JADE).
  • Familiarity with Marine Corps aviation squadron operations.
  • Self‑starter with outstanding communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with the Defense Information Security System (DISS).
Security Clearance Statement

This position requires a government security clearance; the candidate must be a U.S. citizen.

Clearance Level

Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years.

Ability to Work Remotely

Onsite Full‑time:
The work will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules providing additional flexibility. Schedules range from standard 40‑hour over a five‑day work week to condensed schedules, which offer additional time away from the office and are in addition to Paid Time Off benefits.
