Job Description
AFO is looking for a Full Time Security Officer to work in Reston, VA. This position requires current TS/SCI or current TS with the ability to obtain a SCI endorsed clearance. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!

Responsibilities

Required to understand and operate the access control system.
Required to authenticate Common Access Cards.
Make DTRA badges.
Meets and escorts DTRA site visitors as needed.
Assists visitors with contacting their government points of contact.
May be required to provide directions to visitors.
Communicates clearly and orally with visitors as required.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Qualifications

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
May be required to move between facility buildings.
Must be able to function in all types of weather environments.
Always be alert and maintain situational awareness while on duty.
Perform all necessary physical duties without assistance.
Must be able to take general directions, both oral and written.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
One year of general work experience dealing with the public.
Must have a TS/SCI with Eligibility Clearance.
