Overview
Guard-Janitor 1 position at Fidelity Technologies Corporation in support of the Marine Aviation Training Systems Squadron (MATSS) at MCAS Yuma. The role combines access control with front-desk responsibilities and general clerical tasks, with potential duties in housekeeping as directed by the supervisor.
Responsibilities- Perform access control duties to verify clearances for staff and visitors and restrict building entry to authorized individuals.
- Greet all persons entering the building and manage entry permissions against approved rosters.
- Handle general clerical tasks such as scheduling, log maintenance, mail and package receipt, and other correspondence.
- Notify appropriate base personnel (fire, PMO, medical, security) of any incidents or suspected security breaches; log and relay ongoing issues between shifts.
- Assist in the general housekeeping of the facility (e.g., trash removal, cleaning of surfaces, and related duties).
- Support coverage during nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24/7/365 schedule.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Flexible schedule; must be available to work at any time of day, any day of the year.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Windows operating system and knowledge of Office software.
- 1 year of experience in Access Control, Front Desk, Clerical/Secretarial support, or equivalent demonstration of ability to perform duties in this environment.
- Ability to obtain and retain a SECRET DoD Clearance through a security investigation.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience providing Access Control in a Military Environment, preferably in a Secret or Top Secret facility.
- Active SECRET or higher clearance.
- Requires mental alertness and ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Physical ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods and to climb 2 flights of stairs.
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
- Must present a professional appearance in demeanor and dress at all times.
The applicant must be a US citizen and must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
