Security Specialist (Anti-Terrorism Force Protection

Position: SECURITY SPECIALIST (ANTI-TERRORISM FORCE PROTECTION)
US Department of Defense -  - Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive program to combat terrorism, conducting risk assessments, updating protection plans, and coordinating with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure the installation remains secure.;
Plan, execute, and evaluate anti-terrorism exercises and training, ensuring all personnel are prepared, physical security measures are maintained, and emergency procedures are integrated into long-term operational strategies.;
Review and analyze intelligence reports and security data to identify potential threats, develop mitigation strategies, and recommend protective measures that align with both immediate and long-range security objectives.;
Establish and maintain libraries of current directives, policies, and procedures, ensuring that all personnel have access to updated guidance for emergency response, threat prevention, and anti-terrorism compliance.;
Coordinate with installation management, funding authorities, and external agencies to prioritize projects, secure resources, and address deficiencies in anti-terrorism programs while meeting long-term operational goals.
