EMI Services is hiring a Laborer General Maintenance. Performs, often under supervision, a wide range of physically demanding manual tasks to support construction sites, warehouses, or manufacturing facilities. Key responsibilities include loading/unloading materials, cleaning, site preparation, operating tools/machinery, and assisting skilled tradespeople to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
Salary$19.61/ hr. plus $10.00 fringe benefits used towards insurance and 401k!

- Site Preparation & Maintenance:
Cleaning debris, setting up scaffolding, erecting temporary structures, and digging trenches. - Material Handling:
Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, tools, and equipment. - Technical Support:
Assisting carpenters, electricians, masons, and other skilled trades with tasks like pouring concrete, measuring, or assembling components. - Equipment Operation:
Operating basic hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery (e.g., bulldozers, forklifts) safely. - Safety Compliance:
Following strict safety regulations, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Ability to use and have knowledge of all tools and equipment.
- Ability to perform most complex and unusual task without supervision.
- Ability to perform work in a rapid and efficient manner under extreme conditions.
- Ability to perform work safely under hazardous conditions.
- Ability to select the proper equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license compliant with REAL or willing and able to obtain one.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Regular, dependable attendance.
- U. S. citizenship to obtain and maintain access to military installations.
- Must lift 75 lbs. unassisted.
- Must work in extreme weather conditions - summer peaks at 120° Fahrenheit.
- Must wear appropriate Person Protective Equipment (PPE).
