Position DetailsPosition: Forklift Mechanic
Location: Yuma, AZ Pay Rate: $37.88 – $55.95 per hour (based on experience and education)
Starting wage will depend on experience and education. $37.88 - $55.95
About UsQuinn Company’s Forklift Division offers a comprehensive lineup of material handling equipment throughout California. Our equipment supports a wide range of applications—from indoor warehouses and distribution centers to construction sites and port operations.
Primary Responsibilities for Forklift Technician- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on forklifts and material handling equipment
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Disassemble, overhaul, and reassemble engines, transmissions, differentials, and other components
- Service equipment ranging from minor adjustments to major repairs
- Work on CAT, Mitsubishi, Jungheinrich, Manitou, Kalmar, Harlo, Genie, and other allied equipment
- Complete work orders, safety inspections, and timekeeping documentation accurately
- Maintain company tools and equipment to safety and cleanliness standards
- Use diagnostic tools, welding equipment, hoists, and other shop tools as required
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Provide excellent communication and customer service
- Work overtime as needed
- Experience working on forklifts, heavy equipment, or related machinery
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Must own and maintain tools of the trade
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- One-year certificate or associate’s degree from a community college or technical school preferred
- Five plus years of heavy equipment experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

QualificationsOne-year certificate or Associates degree from a community college or technical school;
Minimum five plus year's of CAT dealer experience and ten year's heavy equipment industry experience or equivalent education and experience.
