Associate Systems Software Engineer

• Support and plan software development tasks, including detailed software design, coding, and unit, integration, functional, and system testing
• Develop and sustain new and existing applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues
• Present and report to customers and stakeholders
• Brief software designs and demonstrate software release functionality to customers, stakeholders, and end users
• Analyze high-level customer requirements and derive lower-level functional requirements
• Contribute to new distributed components and interactions aligned with future system architecture
• Support an agile software program for the national intelligence community
• Work on a cloud-based, multi-tiered system with consumer-facing web applications

• Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance required
• U.S. Citizenship required for the active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance
• Final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance with an adjudicated Counterintelligence Polygraph Post-Start required
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• 1+ years’ experience analyzing data and/or identifying functional and systems requirements with customers
• 1+ years’ experience in systems engineering, including system architecture development, systems integration, and/or hardware/software design and analysis
• 1+ years’ experience developing presentations and briefing customers
• Familiarity with Agile or SAFe practices, including daily standup, User Stories, Sprints, and Release Planning
• Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process
• Technical assessment required as part of the selection process
• Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements as a U.S. Person

• Position may require travel up to 10% of the time

Demonstrates expertise in software development, including design, coding, and testing, while effectively communicating with customers and stakeholders. Possesses a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and systems engineering principles within a cloud-based environment.
