CDL Driver- Local and OTR

Coleman Worldwide Moving is a full‑service moving company with a history of over 100 years, dedicated to transporting household goods for individuals and businesses worldwide. This role offers drivers the chance to grow into leadership positions with our moving crews and to interact with customers daily.

Immediate openings for CDL driving positions. Responsibilities include loading, transporting, and unloading household goods. Drivers can lead crews, ensuring safe and efficient moves while maintaining excellent customer service.

• Transport goods using a company truck.
• Lead the crew in loading shipment on to and/or off of truck.
• Inspect shipment prior to loading for proper packing or wrapping.
• Perform accurate inventory of shipment.
• Assist as needed in loading trucks and/or containers for forward movement via interstate commerce.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip safety inspections on truck and moving equipment, interior and exterior of truck, straps and tensioners, walk boards, etc.
• Maintain required documentation and paperwork for shipments, expenses, driver logs, and DOT regulations.
• Lift and carry household goods between residence and vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred:
  Real , Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent.
• Must be willing to travel locally, intrastate and/or interstate.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to meet deadlines.
• Ability to operate a box truck or tractor trailer as applicable to CDL qualification.

• Indoor and outdoor work.
• Lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent squatting and bending.
• Frequent use of stairs.
• Driving for long periods of time.

• Compensation at $20 per hour, depending on experience.
• Incentives above and beyond hourly pay for good work.
• 40 hours of vacation pay after 1‑year employment.
• 8 paid holidays after 90 days for full‑time employees (seasonal included).
