Are you a proactive and customer‑centric professional with a passion for driving commercial success in the food industry? Bunge is on the lookout for an Inside Sales teammate to join our dynamic EMEA team.
This critical role within Bunge Food Solutions EMEA is integral to maintaining and enhancing our customer relationships. You will be responsible for managing and achieving sales targets for allocated customers, ensuring accurate forecasting, executing contract management activities, and providing outstanding service. Working closely with Sales Managers and leaders, you will be key to supporting the effective management and development of our customer relationships and business across the region.
In your position, you also self‑manage a selection of customers that are not directly handled by sales managers.
Key responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management:
Interact proactively with customers and all relevant stakeholders to provide top‑quality value‑added service, building and strengthening relationships through efficient, customized, and culturally aware communication.
Sales Process Execution:
Efficiently execute the end‑to‑end sales process, including price offers, negotiations, contracts booking, and meticulous contract management and execution.
Sales Team Alignment:
Coordinate and lead regular meetings with the Regional Sales team to ensure alignment on contract coverage and to sell positions, and to plan upcoming actions effectively.
Operational
Collaboration:
Participate in weekly meetings with the Sales Operations team to ensure seamless alignment on contract execution and customer approach, optimizing our service delivery.
Commercial Support:
Provide comprehensive support for all activities necessary to manage customer relationships effectively, including data analysis, commercial reporting, client visit preparation and participation, sales forecasting and account plan updates.
Issue Resolution & Improvement:
Proactively solve customer issues, know when to elevate sensitive problems, and actively participate in process improvements and system implementations to enhance efficiency.
Internal Coordination:
Act as a crucial coordinating link between customer requests and internal functions (e.g., Technical Service, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain) to ensure timely and effective resolution of inquiries related to specifications, samples, onboarding, sustainability and other service needs.
What we are looking for
Bachelor’s degree level preferred, with a strong commercial background and mindset.
5+ years of experience in sales support within complex international B2B food customer environments.
Proficiency with MS Office, SAP, and Salesforce (SFDC).
A candidate that prioritizes customer centricity, has an entrepreneurial spirit and a can‑do mentality, eager to contribute to a high‑standards sales team culture.
Proficiency in English; additional languages (e.g., Dutch) are a plus.
