Part-time position.

The essential duties are to perform routine and preventive maintenance and repair procedures on buildings, mechanical equipment and utility systems.

• Ensures cleanliness of designated area within site.
• Sweep and mop all floors and vacuum carpets and dust all surfaces.
• Empty all trash receptacles and biohazard containers.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, refill tissue, paper towels, hand soap, hand sanitizer, etc.
• Clean and disinfect all countertops, exterior of appliances (refrigerators, microwaves, etc.) and furniture.
• Clean glass on entrances and exits and all interior glass as needed.
• Clean all stainless (bathrooms, kick plates, sinks, water fountains, door hardware).
• Sweep all entrance and exit areas (porches, sidewalks).
• Ensure MSDS sheets are current for all chemicals. Adhere to all applicable Environment of Care Standards. Report any quality or safety related matters to immediate supervisor.
• Monthly:
  Assist in preparation to buff all VCT floors.
• Semi‑Annual:
  Strip and wax (scrub and re‑coat as needed) VCT floors with 4 coats of high solids wax;
  Clean all window interior and exterior (entire building).
• Annual:
  Strip and wax (scrub and re‑coat as needed VCT floors with wax; clean all windows.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings and participate in webinars and/or seminars as appropriate.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Language skills:
  Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Mathematical skills:
  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Reasoning ability:
  Must have ability to apply common understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
• Certificates, licenses, registrations:
  Valid Louisiana Driver's license.
• Physical demands:
  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; or crawl; and talk; or hear.
• Work environment:
  The employee will work with cleaning general cleaning solutions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

$13 - $17 per hour
