Student Admissions Assistant

Ohio University is hiring a Student Admissions Assistant to support the Undergraduate Admissions office at the Zanesville Campus. The role involves processing applications, assisting prospective students and guests, conducting campus tours, and providing administrative support under supervision while representing the student experience.

• Process admissions applications and assist prospective students and guests with inquiries.
• Schedule and conduct campus tours, including special group visits and VIP tours.
• Provide general administrative support and may staff office front desks to welcome visitors.
• Communicate externally with prospective students, family members, and other college decision influencers.
• Make outbound calls to prospective and admitted students and assist with managing inbound emails.
• Requires basic knowledge of office software and communication tools.
• Minimum qualifications include current or recent enrollment at Ohio University and strong written and oral communication skills.
• Physical demands include walking tours, standing for long periods, and computer work; occasional off-campus travel may be required.
• Part-time position with a pay rate of $11.50 per hour, reporting to the Vice President Enrollment Management unit.
• Work schedule typically Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with some flexibility for weekend or extended hours.
