This role involves covering various dates in May and June, with responsibilities both during regular hours and on-call periods. Job Responsibilities

• Perform a range of thoracic and cardiovascular surgical procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting, aneurysm repair, and more.
• Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues.
• Insert central and arterial lines, PA catheters, and IABP.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Thoracic Surgeon
• Hold certifications in ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
• Extensive expertise in both open and endoscopic procedures

Working Hours

• The schedule includes regular 8-hour shifts and additional on-call responsibilities, with various dates throughout May and June.

Skills

• Proficient in general cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries
• Skilled in the management of congenital defects, valvular repair/replacement, and permanent pacemaker placement
• Experienced in various vascular surgeries, including open and endovascular approaches
