Hours: 7 hours (does not include ½ hour unpaid lunch - 7 ½ total)

Qualifications:

• Hold an Ohio Dept. of Education Aide permit with ESEA endorsement.
• Successful completion of BCI/FBI background check

Description:

• Work as a member of a collaborative team within the classroom environment
• Communicate and document student progress to the classroom teacher
• Experience working with students with different learning styles

Effective:  school year

Salary: Per WMEA negotiated agreement

Qualifications: Proper certification and licensure to teach social studies

• 1-8
• 4-9

Must be able to relate well with students, as well as be creative, engaging and a team player

TEACHER: Contact the Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center at  regarding qualifications and being placed on the certified substitute list.

PARAPROFESSIONAL: Contact the principal in the building you wishto sub. Information about paraprofessional qualifications are on the Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center website.

COOK or CUSTODIAN: Submit a Support Staff application to the Assistant Superintendent's office at 4880 West Pike, Zanesville.

BUS DRIVER: To be a substitute bus driver, you must have the following minimum requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Have a high school diploma
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid CDL with passenger and school bus endorsement
• Current satisfactory BCI/FBI checks
• Current satisfactory personal driving record on file at BMV
• Must be able to pass physical and drug testing
