To be a substitute in the West Muskingum School District, please review the following guidelines:
TEACHER: Contact the Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center at regarding qualifications and being placed on the certified substitute list.
PARAPROFESSIONAL: Contact the principal in the building you wishto sub. Information about paraprofessional qualifications are on the Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center website.
COOK or CUSTODIAN: Submit a Support Staff application to the Assistant Superintendent's office at 4880 West Pike, Zanesville.
BUS DRIVER: To be a substitute bus driver, you must have the following minimum requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Have a high school diploma
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid CDL with passenger and school bus endorsement
- Current satisfactory BCI/FBI checks
- Current satisfactory personal driving record on file at BMV
- Must be able to pass physical and drug testing
