Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Respiratory unit night position in Ohio requiring recent telemetry and Epic proficiency.

Job Details

• Work primarily on a respiratory unit caring for COVID patients within a hospital,

• May float to other Med-Surg units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders,

• Night shift schedule from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am,

• Work every other weekend is required,

• No on-call responsibilities,

• Epic EMR is used and proficiency is required,

Job Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required,

• Current BLS certification required,

• Minimum 3 years of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience,

• Ability to read telemetry strips is required and will be tested,

• Epic electronic medical record proficiency required,

Additional Information

• Assignment length is 13 weeks,

• COVID-19 patient care is expected on the respiratory unit,

• Floating to several Med-Surg specialty areas may occur,

• Candidates who fail the telemetry or Epic proficiency assessment on day one will be released from assignment,

• Returning Genesis travelers must have worked within the past 9 months to be eligible
