IT Desktop Technician II; Onsite: Zanesville, OH

The IT Desktop Technician II under strict supervision performs configuration, installation and/or repairs of PC hardware and peripherals according to established procedures.

• Pay Rate: Up to $27.50/hour, depending on experience.
• Assignment Length: 6-month contract with high possibility of extension based on performance and other factors.

• Contact end user to define data migration requirements and perform the data migration, if required.
• Monitor trouble tickets and coordinate with appropriate vendors for equipment repair, if needed.
• Adhere to and enforce facility security measures, company safety standards and software licensing procedures.
• Assist in setting up PCs and related peripherals for special requests.
• Lend guidance to desktop support teams on hardware-related issues.
• Perform own work and provide assistance to others as directed.
• Ensure job tasks, when correctly performed, have minimal impact on the viability of the organization.
• Errors are readily ascertainable by the supervisor and can be corrected.

• Skills typically acquired through possession of an A+ certification or equivalent experience.
• Two years of experience in a PC related field, including hardware configuration.
