Job Details

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Metallurgist to join our thriving Manufacturing team. As a Metallurgist, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, contributing to the development, production, and improvement of our metal products. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed analysis and examination of all types of metals and alloys to determine their physical and chemical properties.
  • Develop and modify metallurgical processes and procedures to optimize production.
  • Collaborate with the design and manufacturing teams to ensure the feasibility and manufacturability of new product designs.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the manufacturing team related to metallurgical issues.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues related to metal properties and performance.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of materials during production and post-production to ensure quality and durability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in metallurgy and incorporate new methods and technologies into our processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a metallurgical role.
  • Strong understanding of metallurgical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in using metallurgical lab equipment and conducting material tests.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex metallurgical issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of metallurgy.
