Physician Assistant​/Emergency Medicine​/Ohio​/Nurse Practitioner; NP​/Physician Assistant; PA - Mobile

At Muskingum Valley Health Center, we are searching for a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our primary care teams in Southeastern Ohio. The ideal candidate will share our vision in regard to patient centered care, as well as have a passion for expanding access, and providing medical services to all patients in our region.

Aspects of this position include:

• 100% outpatient only
• Opportunity to work with a well-established team consisting of physicians, mid-level providers, licensed social workers, RNs and LPNs
• Close proximity to community hospital for easy access to additional services
• Epic EMR
• No Call

Minimum Qualifications:

• Masters of Science in Nursing or Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies
• NP certification or Ohio Physician Assistant License
• One to two years of clinical experience preferred.
• CPR Certification
• Supervisory experience a plus.
• DOT certification is preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Lifting up to 30 lbs 4-5 times a day
• Carrying up to 20 lbs occasionally
• Standing 1-2 hours at a time (8 hours a day)
• Walking approx. 30 minutes per hour throughout the day.
• Withstands pressure and deals with emergency situations as needed.
• Normal coordination and/or visual attention to connection with the standard flow of work.
• Good working conditions in an office environment.
• Average working hours with possible non-traditional hours.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintains privacy and confidentiality at all times
• Supports change and participates in activities to promote organizational development.
• Reviews and complies with MVHC policies and procedures related to regulatory standards (HFAP, OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).
• Demonstrates actions and behaviors that consistently contribute to the safety of all (i.e., incident reporting, hazards, and infection control management, etc.).
• Positively and appropriately accepts direction and constructive input from Leadership.
• Completes appropriate documentation within the specified timeframe.
• Follows proper technique in assisting and performing procedures.
• Recognizes and reports signs of abuse or domestic violence.
• Displays ability and uses critical thinking skills to set priorities for patient care, self, and others.
• Conducts and/or coordinates daily rounds with physicians.
• Submits incident reports, evaluations, anecdotal notes, informal and formal counseling?s by deadlines and/or in a timely manner.
• Adheres to all MVHC?s policies and procedures fully cooperating with the MVHC Compliance Program.
